If I have an E/N and carry the N skills Offering of Blood plus say Blood Ritual both of which sacrific health for energy/regen, is it my duty to have some form of self-heal, such as a N skill (e.g. Vampiric Gaze) or Aura of Restoration?

As an Ele, it is my primary duty to carry damage spells (e.g. air/fire) or party defense/enemy hindering spells (e.g. earth/water), and to use them I need energy... so carrying skills to ensure I always have energy would seem the best thing for the party. If I can devote 6 skills to my primary, I could bring enough skills to ensure that I am always casting at least one Ele spell while waiting for others to recharge.

But, this could be troublesome for the healers, who in general, should only have to focus on the warriors soaking up massive damage on the front line, allowing the likes of Ele's to rain down mass AoE spells...

My gut reaction is I think the benefits of having an Ele be able to spam serious damage should outweigh the problem of healing, and of course the monk should be made aware of your build up front so as to know what to expect (and not think you a noob for running into damage all the time!!).

What are your thoughts?
